Yes ++ and thanks a million for the reading recommendations for China - I was looking for something like that. Also yes please on more tales of travel experiences & process
Great article - my takeaway is to drop fear, politics, and assumptions and travel more. It's hard to remember when traveling that you take you with you - so picking a favorite activity (eating! art!) is the best way to start an itinerary. Keep up the inspiration in travel and food knowledge! We all need it :)
Greetings, Larissa! I LOVED reading this travel/food entry from you. I myself just returned from two weeks in Greece (my first venture there, but not my last if I have anything to say about it!) and the food was the highlight of every day there for me. No matter what I was eating, it was beautiful, freshly made and whole. I ate mostly in family-run tavernas in villages, and feasted on whatever was the specialty of the house. I was with a small tour and the family that runs the tours knows these families and so it was the best of all possible scenarios. Food is a universal love language, so please don't apologize for using it as a filter for reality in your life or writing!
I have followed you from your first entry in your blog, as Judi Zimberoff is a very close friend of mine and she introduced you to me. Your visits together last year were the highlights of her trip with Rick to California.
