What I talk about when I talk about food stamps (or SNAP benefits), vertical farms filing bankruptcy, and upcycled oat protein.

I remember using the word ‘diet’ to ask someone what they ate. My line of questioning was less about weight loss and more around wondering what she liked to eat; and maybe what I might need to stock when she visited. It was curiosity versus judgment.
