While some have the luxury to buy new foods that are "swavory," the food insecure, a number in the millions, are on the slow road back to full SNAP benefits.

The lights are back on for the US government, which means SNAP benefits are back for the many that are food insecure. Air travel may no longer be met with delays and cancellations, although we’re still told it will take time. I’m afraid to look at what health insurance coverage will cost me for 2026 but maybe it won’t be quite as bad. (Who am I kidding,…
